Teddington Sub Aqua Club (TSAC) won the 'Best Dressed Duck' in the business duck race, organised by Teddington Together, at Teddington RNLI's Open Day on Sunday (31 May).

66 local businesses entered the race, which saw the decorated rubber ducks float to the finish line.

In preparation for the race, Teddington RNLI held an online competition where locals could vote for the Best Dressed Duck.

Speaking about the win, Annabelle Warrior, a member of TSAC, told Nub News: "We're still shocked to have won best dressed duck, there were so many amazingly decorated submissions from businesses in and around Teddington, and we're so thankful people fell in love with Scuba-Duck.

"Some of our members had attended the Duck race last year and decided to take part in the competition this year to put TSAC out there in the public eye, in the hopes of attracting more members and interacting more with the community.

"Thank you again to everyone who voted for Scuba-Duck. He had so much fun in the race."

She added: "For those interested in try dives, they take place most weeks at Teddington Pools & Fitness Centre on Wednesday nights, with the club supporting new divers in gaining their BSAC qualifications, or experienced divers requiring refreshers or further training.
