Teddington Society invites sixth formers to sign up for writing competition

The Teddington Society is hosting an Article Competition exclusively for Teddington School's Sixth Formers.

All articles for submission article must have a Teddington theme.

Ideas could include:

  • The history of Teddington's street names.
  •  An article on famous residents who've lived in Teddington.
  •  A feature on one of Teddington's local businesses.

Prizes include:

  • 1st Place: £50.
  • Three Runners-up: £25 each.

All winners will be published on The Teddington Society website, and the top article might even feature in the Society's quarterly magazine.

The maximum wordcount for all submissions is 500 words, and articles must be submitted by the end of November.

Article submissions should be submitted to Ms A. Shute, Sixth Form Administrator, via email.

Applicants will be judged by a panel of experts from The Teddington Society, and possibly one of Teddington School's teachers.

The winning authors may also be invited to contribute regular articles for The Teddington Society website.
