There is some good news for the seal of Teddington Lock.

After having metal stuck in its mouth for a week it has been rescued and off to a new home.

Gianna Saccomani of the Teddington RNLI tweeted:

" A young seal pup with a fishing lure stuck in its cheek was rescued from Teddington Lock this morning, thanks to the amazing volunteers of @BDMLR

"Having been treated, Freddy Mercury is now on his way to a new life in the Thames Estuary!"

Let's hope Freddy has a great new life.
