Teddington School's sixth form students achieve “fantastic” A-Level results

Teddington School shares that it is proud of its students for achieving a "fantastic" set of A-level results yesterday, Thursday 15 August.

29% of students achieved A*-A grades with 19 individual students achieving A*-A grades across all their chosen A-Level subjects.

52% of students achieved A*-B grades.

52% of the school's A-Level Maths students achieved A*-A grades, and the Science Department boasted 48% of grades A*-A, 41% A*-A and 32% A*-A grades in Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

The BTEC departments saw 35% of students attaining Distinction*-Distinction grades.

Head of Sixth Form, Hollie Pleavin, said: "On behalf of all the staff, I would like to express how proud we are of our students. They have worked diligently throughout their time here and have wholeheartedly embraced our core values.

"While it is always difficult to see students leave the school, we are confident that they are embarking on promising and rewarding next steps, and hope they keep us updated with their many successes."

Highlights from individual students include Teghan who achieved three A*'s, George A*A*A, Libby A*AA and Maeva A*AAA.

George expressed his excitement, saying: "I'm so pleased to get my offer. I'm thankful to everyone who helped me. I'm heading to study Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford."

Libby, shared her joy, stating: "I'm super pleased to have got into Bristol University. Thank you, Miss Day and Miss Stearn, for everything."

Teghan said: "I'm really happy with my results, and I got into my first-choice university. My results also secure my US scholarship offer."

Headteacher, Paul Grills, said "These results are a reflection of the hard work and dedication our students have demonstrated during their time at Teddington School's Sixth Form.

"We are exceedingly proud of their achievements, as well as the unwavering support from our staff and parents. We are confident that our students will excel in whichever path they choose."
