Teddington School students are celebrating another strong set of A-level results, with almost a third achieving A* to A grades.

This year's results saw 30% of students achieve A-A grades*, while 58% achieved A-B*.

Fourteen students secured A*-A grades across all of their chosen A-level subjects.

The school also recorded strong results across individual departments, with 51 per cent of Mathematics students achieving A*-A grades and 57% doing so in Further Mathematics.

In the sciences, 45% of Chemistry students achieved A*-A grades, alongside 44% in Biology and 39 per cent in Physics.

There were also strong performances across Languages, Arts and Humanities, with 100% of French students achieving A*-A grades, alongside 50% in Art and Design and 33 per cent in Geography.

Headteacher Paul Grills said the results reflected the "hard work, effort and resilience" of students, staff and the wider school community.

He said: "Once again, I am thrilled to celebrate the many achievements of our Year 13 students, and I wish them every success in their next steps, with many of them heading off to the country's top universities."

Head of Sixth Form Hollie Pleavin, commented: "On behalf of all the staff, I would like to say how incredibly proud we are of our students.

"They have approached their studies with dedication and maturity, while fully embracing our school values. It has been a privilege to support them throughout their sixth form journey, and we are excited to see the opportunities that lie ahead."

Among the individual high achievers was Alp Hazendaroglu, who achieved four A* grades.

Other standout results included Alison Eyres, with AAAB, Harmony Chow with AAAA, Sophia Marsh with AAAA, Oliver Tarran with AAA and Annie Bates with AA*A.

The school said it wished all Year 13 students "every success" as they move on to their next steps.
