Teddington School has reopened following its sudden closure yesterday morning (Tuesday, 7 October) with "many" police and ambulances seen outside after a man died.
Children were sent home from Teddington School on Broom Road just before 9am on Tuesday morning.
Parents were left waiting to discover the reasons behind the closure, with the school yet to announce the nature of the incident.
However, a school spokesperson told Nub News that pupils have returned to school today and that the "day will continue as normal".
The school's Head Teacher, Mr P Grills, also shared a statement with Nub News, saying: "Emergency services were called to school on Tuesday 7th October after an external contractor was taken ill.
"Support was provided by both our staff and by paramedics but sadly he died later that morning.
"Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time."
The London Ambulance Service told Nub News that it is not in a position to give cause of death at this time.
