Teddington RNLI is on the lookout for its latest recruit!
Teddington's RNLI is on the lookout for its latest recruit to jump aboard and join the team's mission in continuing to save lives.
The lifeboat station is one of four on the River Thames and has a total of 45 volunteers including fundraisers, education and water safety team members.
The year 2022 saw the team called out 106 times with four of the callouts resulting in lives being saved.
The RNLI has a network of local fundraising teams organising a wide range of activities and events, from coffee mornings to reindeer runs, emptying collection boxes to running an online fundraiser, raising funds is vital to the work each RNLI station carries out and Teddington RNLI is now seeking a new Fundraising Team Member.
The successful candidate will take part in and support fundraising activities throughout the year, attend meetings and collaborate with other volunteers.
Teddington's RNLI team are keen to welcome those eager to bring fresh creative ideas to fundraising methods who also understand the work of the organisation and are keen to become a proud ambassador and advocate.
The lifesaving work Teddington's RNLI team carries out depends on people giving up their time and energy and volunteers raise vital funds to pay for resources like kit and training to keep crew members safe.
In return, the team at Teddington can promise the benefits of joining a tight-knit community whilst learning valuable skills supported through training.
