A restaurant and winebar in Teddington has announced a standout triple recognition at the prestigious Italian Awards 2026 held at the Marriott Grosvenor in Mayfair. 

Shambles Restaurant and Winebar, which is located on High Street, took home the coveted Best Wine List award, alongside Highly Commended distinctions for both Best Pasta and Best Restaurant London. 

The Italian Awards celebrate the very best of Italian dining culture across the UK, recognising excellence in food, drink, and hospitality. 

For Shambles to land across three categories in a single year marks a significant milestone for the independent restaurant, which has built a loyal following in South West London for its "commitment to authentic Italian craft and exceptional hospitality". 

The Best Wine List win reflects a carefully curated selection that champions artisan Italian producers alongside standout bottles from across the peninsula.

Co-owner siblings Margherita and chef Massimo Langella - who honed his craft under the legendary Giorgio Locatelli at both Zafferano in Knightsbridge and Locanda Locatelli in Mayfair - said: "These awards mean everything to us.
