The Indian restaurant and takeaway Zaika in Teddington's High Street is closing down and mysteriously blamed 'greed' as one of the reasons.

In a type-written note in the window, the restaurant says: "To all our dear patrons we are very sorry due to the greed of some people the restaurant is closed we are open for takeaway until further notice."

A second note says: "We are closed. Everything is for sale, come in look around see if you need anything."

The restaurant has been operating for the last ten years and is one of three Indian restaurants and takeaways.
