To kickstart the new year, Richmond Council's work match team and charity Room for Work are providing a free programme in Hampton Wick for local jobseekers and career changers.
Starting from 2 February 2026, residents over 40 years old will be invited to join free career development sessions designed to reconnect their strengths with today's job market and prepare them for what's next.
Residents will learn how to find 'hidden jobs', write an effective CV, master competency-based interviews and use LinkedIn to promote themselves. They will also build confidence in presenting their skills, activate their network, explore self-employment options, and much more.
Delivered in a friendly environment, the 12-session programme will also feature tailored one-to-one mentoring and follow-up coaching support provided by experts.
The course will run every Monday and Tuesday from 10.30am – 1pm between 2 February and 17 March at The Warehouse, St John's Hampton Wick.
Register with Richmond Work Match here so you can sign up for this free course.
