Welcome to Teddington Nub News and please let me enlighten you about our exciting new project and how YOU can get involved in a brand new website service for this unique and wonderful town we all love and want to keep secret!

Teddington Nub News is joining a fast-growing initiative and network across the country dedicated to serving the local population (about 15.000) and focussing and supporting local communities, similar to a good, old-fashioned local newspaper but in a modern and accessible way.

One of the key attractions of this new, innovative site is that YOU can be part of it, by offering up your own personal stories and photos or updates or for Teddington-based community groups, social organisations, sports clubs and your up-to-date news through press releases or general information as well as a crucial service about What's On in the vicinity.

This is a simple guide to help you get involved:

Stories: If you have a story to tell or know of someone you think we should be writing about, get in touch. It could be a heroic or good deed of the day, a remarkable achievement, a published book, recipes, gardening tips, sports recognition or a fantastic charity effort which you think merits sharing.

Remember, if you find anything interesting, it is most likely thousands of others will too! Our black 'nub it' button enables local people, businesses, councillors, historians, experts of any kind, campaigners and sports clubs to write articles for us.

You can input the information directly to us. We will then make a judgment about the content and post it on the site. It really is that easy. Obviously, we cannot publish everything and we would urge you to not to be offensive in any way.

We want to be a positive influence on the community, especially at this harrowing time.

Local List – this is a comprehensive, local business directory. Again, by using the 'nub it' button you can then tell us all about your business, your plans to start a new business or expand an existing business and we will then promote this on our website, Facebook page and on Twitter.

This is currently a FREE service and a great opportunity to 'showcase' your business to the wider community.

Classifieds: We will also have a superfast section of classified, jobs and property, all relating to Teddington and the local area, so there is no need to type in postcodes or your address.

More to come: And we want to add even more exciting features during 2020 and if you have any bright ideas about anything you would like to see on Teddington Nub News, please tell us!

We aim to be in the very heart of Teddington and give you a voice, and all without those intrusive pop-up adverts and surveys. We look forward to working closely with you and building a relationship together to benefit our community and all those live and work here. Stay safe and enjoy the site.

The site is very quick and easy to use on computer or mobile - we like to call it 'Teddington in Your Pocket'.

Either use the Nub It button or email us here
