Access through Teddington Lock continues to be restricted under limited operating hours due to ongoing repair works.

The Teddington Launch Lock has been out of service since mid-May, with the Environment Agency diverting navigation through the Teddington Barge Lock.

This requires manual operation by two staff members, meaning that there is a reduced timetable for lock usage.

Currently, the Barge Lock is only open for use between 9am and 5pm, with the final movement taking place 30 minutes before closing. The lock is not accessible outside of these hours.

Teddington Lock will be completely closed to navigation between 3pm and 5pm on Monday, 21 July to allow engineers to carry out essential work. Services are expected to resume the following morning at 9am.

The Environment Agency has apologised for the inconvenience and said they will issue updates as the situation develops.
