Some good news for keen readers today - Teddington Library is now back open!

It comes after the library was forced to temporarily close yesterday.

However this was not to do with COVID-19 closures that have disrupted library services all year.

This closure was due to a suspected gas leak.

Richmond upon Thames Libraries then tweeted this morning: "Teddington Library is open again!

"The problem was investigated and resolved, so you can come back to browse and collect your reserved books."

The libraries were once again closed over the second lockdown however are now back open once again.

Teddington Library is located on Waldegrave and is a great resource for keen readers.
