DAILY Mirror journalist John 'Jacko' Jackson has covered TWENTY-TWO Olympic Games - twelve summer and ten winter - ten football World Cups and fifty-five Wimbledon tennis Championships.

So An Evening with John Jackson at The Anglers Pub in Teddington promises to be a hilarious night of memories and nostalgia as John recounts his amazing career and mesmerises his audience with extraordinary tales from his recently published book, 'Reflections of a Mirror Man: The Life and Times of Fleet Street's Chief Rotter.'

John is a special guest of SporTedd, the Teddington-based community group, which is dedicated to raising funds for local sport-themed projects.

Former Mail on Sunday Sports Editor Alison Kervin will turn the tables on John and quiz him about his remarkable life at The Private Upstairs Room at The Anglers on Wednesday 27 October at 7pm.

A small number of tickets are still available for £40 a head which includes a supper with a starter and a main course and half a bottle of wine. The price also includes a donation to SporTedd
