Teddington Fiver Fest is returning for October 2021 and an amazing 20 traders have already signed up to take part.

The 2-week event will see independent Teddington businesses offering £5 deals to customers in a bid to encourage locals to support their high street.

Toast Deli, Heirloom, the Teddington Cheese, The Fallow Deer and Simply Skin UK are some of the big names taking part this year.

We'll be revealing the full list of deals on 9 October.

Supporting our high streets is more important than ever as independent businesses have taken a huge hit during the pandemic.

This month, much-loved interior design store Jenny Blanc closed down which its owner blamed on the months of lockdown made necessary by covid-19.

Speaking about Fiver Fest, participating trader Toast Deli said: "This is your chance to meet and support your local independent stores.

"Our beloved high street has faced the most difficult of years please come out and rediscover the gems we have."

Fiver Fest is run by the Totally Locally organisation and an estimated 100 high streets take part every year.

In June 2021, 12 Teddington businesses offered amazing £5 deals including massages, food hampers and cocktails.

"We felt that the June Fiver Fest was the best one ever after seeing all the passion for supporting our Independent High Streets again!" said Totally Locally after the event.

"During lockdown, it has proven that more than ever, our local businesses play a pivotal role in the well-being of our communities."

Last year 24 traders signed up to the October event.

With 5 days to go now we may see more Teddington traders add their names to the list!
