To celebrate International Women's Day on Sunday, 8 March, two fitness centres in Teddington are hosting free fitness events.

Running from 9.30am – 12.30pm, Teddington Fitness Centre at Teddington School is hosting an Open Tennis Morning.

Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre is also hosting various events throughout the day including:

• Aqua-fit class at 12.30pm standard rate - £8.80
• Les Mills Body Balance class at 1.30pm - Free of charge
• Women's focused spinning class at 11am - Free of charge

The events are part of a borough-wide initiative with other activities taking place across the borough, including:

• Free fitness assessments at Hampton Sports and Fitness Centre
• Women's boxing class at Shene Sports and Fitness Centre
• Community walk and pelvic floor talk at Stable & Strong Women's Fitness Studio in Mortlake

Moreover, on Saturday, 7 March, Teddington residents are invited to join the Strive25 Celebration at The Craneford Way.
