Live music returns to the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington this Friday 3 September, as critically acclaimed blues guitarist Matt Woosey and his band will be taking to the stage.

Matt Woosey, who plays acoustic blues, folk and rock, has made a career of defying expectations with albums that break down the confines of genre.

He's described as an artist who slips the creative handcuffs of the industry, a trailblazer with no reverse gear and a guitar visionary whose palette bleeds into folk, rock, ambient and electronica.

The Times have praised his "luminous originality" and BBC 6Music's Tom Robinson asked: "Is [he] the finest acoustic blues guitar[ist] currently working in UK?"

You can listen to Matt's music on his YouTube channel HERE.

Lesley Bossine, the Landmark's Centre Manager, said: "We're so excited to be welcoming Matt and band who are performing here as part of their UK tour.

"Not only will they be launching our new autumn programme, but also marking our long-awaited return to live music gigs."

Tickets can be purchased via WeGotTickets (just click the link) or by calling the Landmark's box office on 0208 977 7558.

Doors open at 7:15pm and the gig starts at 8pm.

All ages are welcome (under 14s must be accompanied by an adult) and student concessions available.

The Landmark Arts Centre is an independent charity (1047080) dedicated to offering a wide range of arts education activities for children, young people and adults by providing a stimulating, year-round, programme of live events including music, comedy, poetry and dance as well as providing exhibition opportunities for visual artists and designers
