Teddington Dance Studio (TDS) will be competing at the prestigious All England National Finals this July after qualifying from the South East Regionals earlier this month.

Competing against 24 other dance schools during the regional finals, TDS remarkably secured their place at the nationals after stand-out performances guaranteed a top five qualifying spot.

Six-year-old Lily cemented her spot after a stunning ballet solo saw her finish 1st place in the pre-junior category (pictured below).

Phoebe, Charlotte and Nancy wowed judges with their classical ballet trio and TDS' Under 11's Modern Group also ensured they too would be heading to the nationals, which will be hosted at the Wycombe Swan from the 22nd July – 30th July.

Despite the 19 TDS' dancers qualifying in three separate groups, Teddington's performance for the nationals will be performed as one, something completely new to the school who prepare to enter the prestigious competition for the tenth consecutive year.

Natalie Randhawa, Principal at TDS said: "I've never headed to the All England National Finals as one singular group before, it's something we are all experiencing for the first time.

"However, there is such a wonderful togetherness from everyone at TDS, from parents putting family holidays on hold, to my fellow teachers coordinating rehearsals and of course students, for their determination and perseverance.

"They all work so incredibly hard and I am extremely proud to be able to teach them, I know they will be fantastic!"

During the week-long finals, TDS will compete on the 22nd July and will enter the competition with extra motivation as the school's tenth anniversary will be celebrated in September later this year.
