With the build-up of lockdown three finally coming to an end the Teddington Together committee wanted to find a way to celebrate the 12 April with traders and residents.

The decision was taken that the most impactful way to do this was to hang Union Jack flags up over all the shops in

Teddington.

With the sheer determination and amazing support of Mel Franke from Coversure who rallied the troops on Stanley Road they will be, for the first time, partaking along with Waldegrave Road.

A collaboration that Teddington Together has been striving for over the last couple of years.

A celebration of Teddington truly coming together.

Keep your eyes peeled for our lovely Lucy Rock, Director and Treasurer of Teddington Together and fabulous Liam from Teddington Carpets scaling ladders this weekend to try and get over 100 flags up in time for Monday.

108 local businesses are taking part in the celebration and the flags will stay up until the Queen's birthday on Saturday 12 June.

In these difficult times, we all need to come together as a nation to celebrate that we are finally starting to come through the other side of this pandemic.
