Running the event was Teddington Together; a volunteer-led committee of local residents and business owners who aim to enhance the lifestyle and shopping experience of Teddington town folk.

Lucy Rock, Treasurer of Teddington Together, the organisers of the lights, said: "Teddington has a unique charm which we are passionate about celebrating."

Lights Up started with an indoor Christmas market, hosted by the Con Club on Stanley Road. There were lots of different stalls for festive gifts and decoration needs.

It was followed by the ever popular lantern procession starting on Church Road and going down Broad Street.
