A local charity, Ruils, is collecting donations for its Christmas Parcels at its office in Teddington until 18 December.

It is accepting a variety of goods, including pasta, rice, porridge, jam or peanut butter, tinned tuna, tinned veg, and more.

However, it is particularly in need of sweets, chocolates, biscuits, crisps, soap, and body wash.

Ruils is a user-led charity supporting Disabled children and adults and people with long term health and mental health conditions to live independently, be part of their community and to live life to the full.

It provides information, advice, advocacy, befriending and activities to its clients and their families across Southwest London.

For the fifth year, Ruils is collecting food donations to put together Christmas food parcels for local Disabled people in need.

All food donations can be dropped off at the Ruils office in Teddington at 4 Waldegrave Road between 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday.
