Staff at The Fallow Deer were all smiles yesterday (8 July) as the cafe was in its third day back open on the high street.

The popular Teddington brunch spot made the decision to shut its doors to customers on Saturday 26 June, when a positive case was linked to the cafe.

It was later confirmed that 2 members of staff had tested positive for the virus following a busy day at the outlet and it closed for 10 days as a precaution.

Customers were supportive on social media and The Fallow Deer was buzzing when Nub News visited this week.

"We're very happy to be back, the community seems to have missed us," said assistant manager Drew.

"We have such a strong following in Teddington and have had so much support. We're very grateful."
