Teddington Beer Festival is set to open for a second year tomorrow, Thursday 2 November, for a three-day celebration of some of the best beers, ales, and ciders in the UK.

The festival runs from 2-4 November to raise funds for the Landmark Arts Centre, where the event is being held.

Colin Newton, festival organiser, told Teddington Nub News: "There's a nice gentle buzz to the event, it's not a stuffy beer festival where it's just about the beer."

Organisers have announced that Friday 3 November evening session is sold out and only 50 tickets remain for the popular Saturday night session.

Tickets are available for Thursday evening and both Friday and Saturday noon sessions, although selling fast.

Festival goers are advised to prebook tickets online or call the Landmark Box Office to avoid disappointment on the door.

With over 75 cask ales, 15 keg beers and 18 varieties of cider on offer, there will be an abundance of seasonal brews and refreshing hoppy ales to savour.

The festival strives to support local breweries with beers from Jawbone and Big Smoke among others.

Beers have been sourced from across the country including Cheltenham, Cambridgeshire, Nottinghamshire, and the Midlands.

Popularity for the festival took the Landmark by storm in 2022, which saw 1500 people flock through the doors.

This year promises to be another bumper event with ticket sales already expected to exceed last year's numbers.

Colin added: "The Landmark is a community building and through our events we want to build relationships with businesses to support the high street and everything happening around Teddington and beyond."

Local businesses and groups taking part include Teddington's Lebanese food restaurant, Ruba, local Kingston distillery, Bone Idyll.

Live music will feature across all sessions, except Friday lunchtime, from local bands: GTA, New Dawn Soul and To the River Band with a mix of pop, rock and soul classics.

On Sunday 5 November a beer "sell-off" is being held from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, no tickets required.

Breweries attending are Brentwood; Elephant School; Park; Portobello; Sambrook's; Twickenham; Wimbledon; Workshy; Thames Ditton; Jawbone; Big Smoke; Twickenham; Wimbledon and more.

Event sponsors include the multi-award-winning CAMRA pub of the year, The Masons Arms, Jawbone Brewing, Big Smoke Brewery, Sambrook's Brewery, Twickenham Brewery, The Anglers Pub, Wimbledon Brewery and Noble Green.

Tickets are available at www.landmarkartscentre.org/shows/teddington-beer-festival/ and include a souvenir glass, programme, first beer token and entertainment.
