Teddington singer/ songwriter, Liz Arcane, in conjunction with Island Farm Studio, is proud to announce the release of her album Honest Soul.

The 7-track album focuses on "lovingly honest responses to the challenges we all face in our lives, particularly in terms of love, lust and living in the moment", said Arcane.  

Five singles have been released over the year, all of which appear on the album and in some cases, in the extended editions.

Two exclusive bonus tracks will appear on the digital download and CD, which won't appear on streaming services.

The artwork for the album cover is produced by Drew Braidwood and Ben Williams.

Production for the album was done by James Mason and Sam Neild (Mixing, Mastering).

Musicians on the album include Arcane, Dave Matthews, James Mason, Ollie Pratley, and Mo Mashall.

Music and Lyrics are by E Shadbolt (Trading as Liz Arcane).

Speaking about the album, Arcane said: "I wrote the album Honest Soul after a time in my life when I decided it was time to start getting honest with myself, and I hope the lyrics reflect that.

"Musically the album is hugely inspired by 70s rock/pop bands and soul."

Arcane is a London-based singer-songwriter who has a wealth of performance experience and repertoire of original songs.

As a published songwriter, and songwriter on spec for several artists and specifications, Arcane is a proficient writer of pop, rock and soul.

As a solo artist, she performs honest, powerful Neo-Soul/Rock songs with a 70s vibe.

Her lyrics are concerned with the joy and pain of everyday life.

Backed by some of London's finest musicians, Arcane sings straight from her heart to yours.

To celebrate the release of her album, Arcane is holding an event at 2pm on 29 September at the Thames Side Brewery in Staines.

She sees the event as a chance to get the band and fans together and celebrate its completion, as well as hopefully sell some CDs.

"Very retro," she said.
