A gallery near Teddington is calling for work by local artists to make up a new exhibition this autumn.

Orleans House Gallery, in Twickenham, is inviting submissions from artists living or working in the London Borough of Richmond Upon Thames for their November open call exhibition - Breaking Ground.

Running alongside Richmond Literature Festival, Orleans House Gallery will curate an exhibition of work by local artists responding to the same stimulus as this year's festival – 'how we can build a better world that is more sustainable, more inclusive and more equal?'.

The exhibition will run in the Stables Gallery at Orleans House Gallery from 6 to 21 November.

The deadline for proposals is 12 noon on 11 October.

Visit the Orleans House Gallery website to find out more and apply.
