A small Italian embroidery retailer in Richmond has developed its own exclusive range of fashion wear following the worldwide success of the award-winning TV series Ted Lasso, which was filmed on its doorstep.

The high quality range includes the distinctive Lasso trademark look of moustache and dark glasses embroidered on to baseball caps in different colours, hoodies, tee-shirts, sweaters, key chains and bags.

Prices range from £20 for socks, £25 for a baseball cap and £65 for a sweater or hoodie and the vast range is also available for purchase online.

Reale Camiceria has developed its own exclusive range of fashion wear following the worldwide success of the award-winning TV series Ted Lasso

The small retailer, Reale Camiceria, is based in the narrow street called Paved Court in Richmond upon Thames and the shop's frontage is right opposite Ted Lasso's fictional front door which has become a global tourist attraction.

Orders have been pouring in from the US, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Holland as well as the UK since the third and final series ended last month, making it a challenge to keep up with demand.

The cast of Ted Lasso including Jason Sudeikis who plays Ted and his sidekick Coach Beard, played by Brendan Hunt, were frequently seen filming scenes in the narrow street as well as the nearby pub The Prince's Head, which became the Crown & Anchor for the series and near the famous pair of bright telephone boxes on the edge of Richmond Green.

Hoodies, tee-shirts, sweaters, key chains and bags are all available

The Italian shop owners Cristina and Claudio Romoli told Nub News: "The success of Ted Lasso has brought thousands of fans to Richmond and all the areas where the filming has taken place, especially Ted's front door in the show where fans want their photos taken.

"Fortunately, we are right opposite so people ask us if we have met the cast and what they are like and so on. We tell the truth and tell them they were fantastic, so generous and kind and friendly. They stopped and talked to everyone, signed autographs and posed for selfies even if it interrupted filming.

"We just thought it was a good idea to produce a specific range of items which we are calling Ted L. which fans have the opportunity to buy when they are visiting the area, especially when they have come a long way just to visit the Ted Lasso locations and we have been overwhelmed with orders."
