Friends of the Earth have launched a new green business guide for Richmond Borough.

A number of Teddington businesses have been included on the list.

These include:

The Refill Larder – Teddington based shop selling loose groceries (rice, grains, nuts etc), olive oil refills, cruelty-free and vegan toiletry refills and refills for laundry and washing up liquids.

Berts Shoe Repairs - Teddington based shoe repairer

London Health Foods - Teddington based shop selling several organic brands

Oxfam - Sells some green toiletries (Faith in Nature) – branches in Richmond, Twickenham and Teddington

Wild Mind Project - Teddington based not for profit using nature to improve mental health

Teddington Action Group - Teddington based anti Heathrow expansion group

Each of these business and organisations are environmentally friendly.

Friends of the Earth, who set up the guide, are one of over 200 local groups affiliated to and supported by Friends of the Earth.

They are group of volunteers interested in raising public awareness of environmental issues and pressing for sustainability. They are not connected to any political party.
