Cricket

The cricket season is well and truly back underway as Teddington Cricket Club look to continue their impressive unbeaten run in the Middlesex County Cricket League.

The first team travel away to Crouch End in the Premier Division - with the match starting at 11:30am on Saturday.

Crouch End sit mid-table while Teddington are joint top so this will be another match the Bushy Park based club will be hoping to win.

Teddington seconds play at home against North Middlesex with a 12pm start on Saturday.

Their opponents are currently bottom of the league while Teddington sit joint top so this should be a routine win.

The thirds are flying this season having secured three straight wins and also clash with North Middlesex and will expect to pick up a fourth win.

This match also takes at 12pm in Bushy Park tomorrow.

Football

It's been a busy week for National League South team Hampton and Richmond Borough.

As well as resigning many of their key players from last season they have also acquired a brand new player.

Forward Eddie Dsane signed from local club Kingstonian, who play their football in the 7th division, has joined The Beavers.

Manager Gary McCann said: "He's a player we've monitored for the last couple of seasons and one we're really looking forward to working with.

"He's dynamic, can play in any of the front four positions and I'm sure the fans are going to enjoy watching him."
