Staff at Bluebird Care Richmond & Twickenham are putting their best foot forward by taking part in the 1 Million Step Challenge to raise money and awareness for Diabetes UK.

Members of the care provider's team are each aiming to walk one million steps as part of the national fundraising challenge, which promotes the importance of staying active while supporting people living with diabetes.

The initiative has also brought colleagues together, with staff encouraging one another as they work towards their individual targets.

Bluebird Care says the challenge is helping to raise awareness of the benefits of regular exercise and wellbeing, while supporting the work of Diabetes UK.

A spokesperson from Bluebird Care Richmond & Twickenham, said: "It's amazing to see members of our team come together for such a fantastic cause.

"Everyone taking part has shown so much dedication and enthusiasm, and we're incredibly proud of the commitment they've shown as they work towards this goal together."

The 1 Million Step Challenge encourages participants to gradually reach one million steps while raising funds to support Diabetes UK's research, campaigns and services for people affected by diabetes.
