Set against the backdrop of the dancing plague in Strasbourg in 1518, "The Dance Tree" follows the fate of a pregnant woman named Lisbet. Friday October 18th - The Wager, David Grann

In this true historical narrative, David Grann recounts the harrowing tale of an 18th-century shipwreck survivor who makes a dangerous bet to save himself and return to civilization. "The Wager" is a story of survival, betrayal, and the extraordinary lengths to which people will go to honour a debt. 

Friday November 22nd - Saturday. Ian McEwan 

Taking place over a single day in London, "Saturday" follows neurosurgeon Henry Perowne as he navigates a series of increasingly unsettling encounters culminating in a confrontation that will challenge his beliefs and the fabric of his society. McEwan's finely tuned prose dissects the complexities of the post-9/11 world with compelling precision.

A unique celebration of the music of Prince. Drawing on his incredible catalogue of songs this show pays homage to perhaps the most influential artist of his generation.

Featuring David McAlmont and Imaani

With Musical Direction from our Artist in Residence, Janette Mason, whose unique interpretations of Prince, Bowie and many more have been receiving rave reviews.

Discovering Jewish Country Houses: Photographs by Hélène Binet

Saturday 21 September - 8 January, Strawberry Hill House

This autumn, explore Hélène Binet's evocative photography at Strawberry Hill House. Recognized as one of the world's leading photographers, Binet unveils a captivating collection showcasing the distinctive essence of Jewish country houses, she believes in capturing the "instant" on film.

The exhibition features over 20 works inspired by "The Jewish Country Houses" book, edited by Juliet Carey and Abigail Green. Binet's essays highlight nine houses, two mausoleums, and a synagogue, showcasing their exteriors, gardens, and interiors.

Tickets are included with general admission from 21 September 2024 to 8 January 2025.
