RNLI 200 Anniversary Boat Gathering

About: Two hundred boats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and other craft will gather along the Thames this weekend to celebrate 200 years of the RNLI.

The fundraising event, organised by Thames-based Sea Scout groups and Teddington RNLI, will bring together canoe clubs, skiff clubs, sailing clubs and enthusiastic river users to celebrate the work of this vital institution.

When: Saturday 6 July @ 6pm.

Where: River Thames outside Hampton Court.

Price: Free, but donations are encouraged.

High Summer

About: Dive into an evening where the spectacular and the sublime unite. High Summer, hosted by the enchanting West End songstress Ivy Paige, promises a night of unparalleled wonder and excitement.

Joining her is the legendary burlesque icon Vicky Butterfly, who weaves her mesmerising magic alongside jaw-dropping acts direct from Cirque du Soleil.

Organisers say: "This red-hot blend of burlesque, cabaret, and circus offers more than just entertainment; it's a journey into a world of awe, glamour, and breathtaking performances."

When: Friday 5 July @ 7:15pm doors for an 8pm start.

Where: Landmark Arts Centre, Ferry Road, Teddington, TW11 9NN.

Price: Advance, £24; general admission, £28; concessions, £19.50.

Teddington Choral Society Summer Concert

About: Teddington Choral Society and its Musical Director, Julian Collings, will be performing a selection of French compositions from both early and contemporary periods, including Duruflé's Requiem, Fauré's Tantum Ergo, a medley from Les Misérables and others, at their summer concert.

The choir will be joined by mezzo-soprano Clara Kanter, baritone Jon Stainsby, cellist Rebecca Hepplewhite, Peter Jaekel at the organ and Phil Culling at the piano.

When: Saturday 6 July @ 7pm.

Where: St Andrew's Church, Maple Road, Surbiton, KT6 4DS.

Price: £15

Richmond Park Half Marathon

About: The Richmond Park Half Marathon is back, with a run that promises not just a challenge but also a lot of joy and excitement.

While the event is fully-booked for runners, spectators are more than welcome to show their support and sit by the sidelines for a Sunday morning in the sun.

The event will help raise funds for Teddington Memorial Hospital, described by its Friends Of group as "a hub where lives are improved, hope is restored, and our community spirit is fostered".

When: Sunday 7 July @ 9am.

Where: Sheen Gate, Richmond Park, SW14 8BJ.

Price: Entry was £36 for runners, but coming to watch is free.
