Teddington pub to host a variety of festive events

A pub in Teddington is set to host a variety of festive events over the Christmas period.
RNLI Christmas Supper Quiz
On Friday, 21 November at 7.30pm, The Anglers will be hosting its annual Christmas Supper Quiz to help raise money for the local Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI).
Tickets to the event cost £29.50 per person and include sharing starters, a choice of main course, and the quiz.
£12.50 of every ticket sold will be donated to RNLI Teddington.

Bauble Painting
On 26 November at 7pm, The Anglers will be hosting a bauble painting workshop.
Tickets to the workshop cost £35 per person and include a glass of wine on arrival.

'The Elves and The Shoemaker'
For two nights in December at The Anglers, Open Bar will be performing its adaptation of The Elves and The Shoemaker from The Brothers Grimm.
The play's description says: "Written in 1806 by The Brother's Grimm, the tale follows a failing shoemaker at Christmas time, and the mysterious occurrences that take place.
"In true Open Bar style, this show is family friendly, engaging and full of laughs. A heartwarming
retelling of this classic story, featuring music, puppetry, plenty of audience interaction and, of course, barrels of Christmas cheer."
The performances will run on 5 December from 7.30pm – 9.30pm and 6 December from 1pm – 4pm.

St Mary's with St Alban's Church Christmas Carolling
From 6.30pm – 9.30pm, The Anglers is inviting locals to join St Mary's with St Alban's Church for an evening of Christmas Carolling.
The event is free and there is no need to book.

New Year's Eve Dinner and Fireworks Display
On New Year's Eve (31 December), The Anglers is hosting a special dinner and fireworks display.
For £65 per person, guests can enjoy a ""beautifully curated three-course meal, designed specially for the occasion, accompanied by a glass of English sparkling wine on arrival.
After dinner, guests can step outside and take in the riverside fireworks display, the perfect way to welcome the New Year in unforgettable fashion.
