Teddington restaurant to host bottomless brunch
By Tilly O'Brien 7th Jun 2026
A restaurant in Teddington is set to host a bottomless brunch event next weekend.
Takkaa Tak, which is located on Broad Street, will take place on Sunday, 14 June from 12pm - 4pm.
The brunch will include a complimentary half pint of Kingfisher, chaat (Indian street food), live music and face painting.
Takaa Tak first opened its Teddington restaurant on 16August 2024 after opening its first restaurant in Hounslow in 2016.
The restaurant is run by four chefs who initially worked in Heaton Garden Inn in Heathrow.
Krishna Khatri, who works at Takaa Tak, told Nub News: "The idea for the Hounslow restaurant came up and the chefs discussed their shared dream of opening their own restaurant and doing what they love, so they went for it.
"This year actually marks the 10th year of Takaa Tak itself."
Takaa Tak specialises in authentic Northern Indian-style food.
"But we also touch on other parts of India," Krishna said.
He added: "As all the partners are chefs, they want the food to be properly authentic. So we're trying to give an authentic North Indian taste to Teddington."
Speaking about why they chose to open a second restaurant in Teddington, Krishna said: "The location is pretty good and we heard a lot of good things about Teddington and the people, and we have definitely seen that.
"Hounslow has a much larger Asian community than Teddington, making them very different, but I think the people here are very lovely."
He added: "We like to make the community feel welcome in our restaurant, so we often host events. For example, we had a Christmas party last year, we usually have live music, and now we have our brunch coming up next week."
Takaa Tak is a sponsor of Nub News.
