The footbridge to south of Teddington station on Station Road has closed, according to reports.  

Works are said to be carried out on the footbridge, according to a red sign which has appeared on the blocked entrance.

The diversion is over the bridge at the station, a major access route for the community and a popular route to Bushy Park.  

Residents are encouraged to use Teddington Station Footbridge as an alternate route.  

No start or end date of the works, nor what type of repairs, have been indicated.
