The beautiful riverside restaurant, The Wharf in Teddington, is offering a unique gourmet dining experience to celebrate the end of the COVID-19 crisis.

The dinner or lunch will have a maximum value of £200 plus a FREE bottle of champagne for FOUR people and will ONLY be available after the government lifts the lockdown restriction and green lights the reopening of restaurants.

The Wharf is a popular venue for big birthday parties, wedding receptions and afternoon tea and, like many other businesses, has been severely hit by the enforced closure but its owners are confident normal service will be resumed with the continued support of regular customers and the local community.

Owner, Barbara Spain, said:"This is a very tough time for businesses like ours, especially as we don't really know when it will all end but we have had hundreds of messages of support.

"We'd like to think we will be very busy when the lockdown is lifted and people will be desperate for a glass of wine and a lovely meal with the friends they have missed so much in a stunning setting overlooking the river."

The best answer, as judged by the restaurant, will be the lucky winner for the dinner!

The winner will be announced next Tuesday, April 28th
