Popular Teddington cafe Sidra have said that a business on Broad Street is copying their food and style.

The Teddington World Cup of Hospitality winners said on Twitter:

"We are receiving numerous reports from customers letting us know about another business in our area that is copying Sidra's food and style.

"We would like to make it clear that we are not associated with anyone on Broad Street. Thank you to our loyal customers!"

Sidra spoke to Teddington Nub News to further clarify details about the situation.

"The owner of a cafe on Broad Street came to our shop and needed some help.

"We helped him and we don't know he took the photos of the shop and he tried to make the same style and food.

"I was well intentioned with him but I don't know he was stealing ideas.

"The competition is a good thing to create ideas as well is very good but copy and pasting I think this is a shame as we want to support local businesses however he had ill intentions."
