River celebrations on Sunday, 16 July

The annual service of thanks to celebrate the importance of the River Thames to the existence, work and leisure of Teddington takes place on Sunday, 16 July .

The events will start at 10am at the parish church of St Mary with St Alban, Ferry Road. TW11 9NN and will then continue at Manor Road Recreation Ground, TW11 8BF from 10.30am.

Lots of local organisations and clubs with connections to the river will be coming along to get involved with this colourful and emotive celebration, along with the RNLI who will have their lifeboat station open and will be serving teas.
