Teddington Wine Society are back doing live events.

We could all do with a glass of fine wine after the events of a global pandemic and TWS are offering just that with their first live event in months.

The event will take place on Friday August 7th, starting at 7:30pm.

While you may have become accustomed to drinking on Zoom calls this will be an in person event.

You can head down to St Mary's Parish Hall on Langham Road - of course social distancing measures will be in place for the event.

The Society usually operate out of The Landmark Arts Centre and are looking to return their in the near future.

The Society said this about the event:

"The Wines of Spain is the theme for August and a terrific tasting is in store as we taste a top class range that will showcase the diversity and quality that this wine nation produces.

"Rioja, Ribera, Galicia, Catalonia and more will be represented.

"We will be serving a dinner and will be following all relevant protocols on food preparation and service."

The event costs £37.50 and is a great opportunity to support a prominent local society.

There are also further events planned throughout the rest of the year.
