Pay your respects to David Hogg on Teddington High Street on Monday

By The Editor 5th Nov 2021

Friends of the late and much-loved David Hogg, who sadly passed away in Kingston Hospital on April 4th, probably from COVID-19, have been urged to turn out on Teddington High Street on Monday morning to pay tribute to his life.

David, aged 61, had been ill for several weeks and his funeral will take place at Kingston Crematorium with only his immediate family in attendance because of the current government guidelines.

His close friend, Simon Lamb said: "I know it would be a great comfort to his wife Angela to see some familiar faces if people can take their socially-distanced exercise along The High Street at 11.45am next Monday morning so they can say goodbye to him en route to Kingston."

Another friend, Martin Waldouck said: "David was such a joyous and lovely man and lived his life with so much enthusiasm and energy. He's going to be hugely missed."

Those who wish to pay their respects should gather near the King's Head pub on the High Street and adhere to the 2-metre social distance guidance.

A memorial service will be held at a later date so his many friends can join his family for a celebration of his life and say their own farewells.
