A brand new coffee shop with a twist called PARSNIPS has opened on Teddington's High Street.

The shop is operated by the owner of the highly successful restaurant next door, Café Benedict.

Large queues could be seen outside the new outlet at the weekend and customers made use of two pavement tables too.

Parnsips is serving pancakes, milkshakes, frozen fruit smoothies, hackney gelato, pastries, coffee and hot chocolate but there is currently is no seating available inside.

Owner Ben Phillips has big plans for the future when the shop is fully opened next year which will see it sell fruit and veg produce as well as a selection of cheeses and charcuteries.

Parsnips is open every day from 9am until 5pm every day.
