Teddington's Park Lane Stables will be featured on the BBC One programme Countryfile tonight.

On Twitter the stables said: "Countryfile will be telling the story of the magic our ponies create, enhancing the lives of people in London.

"Tune in to get a better idea of what happens here & how we access the countryside as part of our activities."

The programme will air on BBC One at 6pm tonight.

To celebrate the stables' achievement, local art collective 1of1design will give 25% of sales from their pony portraits today to 21&Co , a Down's Syndrome Charity based in South-West London.

The colourful artworks are from the studio's Pony Print Hall of fame collection and are available to buy on the 1of1design website .

The pony prints were originally produced to help Park Lane Stables with its fundraising efforts during a campaign to save the stables from closure earlier this year.

The campaign was supported by celebrities including Rob Brydon and eventually saw the stables raise an incredible one million pounds .

In March, BBC Breakfast featured the stablesas they re-opened to the public and also included footage from the stables' attendance at an outdoor Easter service at St Marys with St Albans Church.
