A horse at Park Lane Stables sadly died last week.

Taking to social media on Thursday, 10 April, the stables shared the news that its horse Rizz had earlier that morning.

The stables said: "Rizz died with the taste of polos in his mouth and the voice of someone that truly loves him telling him how loved he is in his ear. He was in the field with his friends with the birds singing and blossom on the trees."

It thanked Claudine from Shotter & Byers Equine Veterinary Services who provided Rizz with "exceptional" care.

Park Lane Stables' owner, Natalie O'Rourke, told Teddington Nub News: "We are absolutely devastated by the loss of one of our Park Lane family Rizz. We love all the horses dearly and did our best to for him. We are grateful for all the kindness and support we have received."
