Nominate Teddington caregivers for Dignity in Care Awards
By Tilly O'Brien 22nd Apr 2026
If you know a paid carer, care worker or personal assistant who goes the extra mile, why not nominate them today for a Dignity in Care Award?
The Dignity in Care Awards are a chance for Richmond borough to recognise the dedication and professionalism of those who are champions in providing care and treating those they care for with the respect they deserve.
Richmond Council is a Dignity Champion, as part of the Dignity in Care campaign led by the National Dignity Council.
In its role as a Dignity Champion, the council said, "we are strongly committed to celebrating Dignity in Care and championing local care workers and personal assistants who go the extra mile to provide outstanding care and support to local residents".
The awards aim to:
- Recognise good quality care within the borough
- Raise awareness of Dignity in Care
- Inspire local care workers and personal assistants to deliver outstanding care and support
- Reward and recognise those staff and teams that make a difference and go the extra mile
If you know someone who deserves recognition for what they do in Teddington, nominate them by Friday, 22 May 2026.
You can nominate via the council's online form, or contact the authority at [email protected] to get a paper form.
Richmond Council asks that you make sure to read through the nomination criteria, as well as the National Dignity Council's 10 Dignity Do's, before submitting your nomination.
Care provided to an individual must have taken place in the borough within the past year, from January 2025 to the present.
