If you have walked down High Street recently, then you may have noticed that a new shopfront has been installed in the building next to Roots for an estate agent.

The building is currently being transformed into a new office for Twickenham and Hampton-Wick based estate agent Devenports and could open in August or sooner "if we can get the contractors in there," says Devenports co-owner Aaron Baxter.

Aaron told Teddington Nub News that since the office's signage has gone up, the team has had 40 evaluations a week, which is having a "desired effect".

Devenports, which already has offices in Twickenham and Hampton Wick, specialises in selling and renting properties in Twickenham, Hampton and Teddington. In Teddington its range of properties is priced from £165.000 to £2.865.000.

Speaking about why he and co-owner James decided to open an office in Teddington, Baxter said: "The long and short of it is that James and I have always said that when we've sold 150 houses in Teddington, we'd open up a Teddington office.

"We've already sold 153 and we've seen that there's a bit of a gap in the market in terms of what we're doing with our advertising, our social media, and videography as there's no agent in Teddington that offers anything like we're doing, especially on the High Street.

"Now is the perfect time to open."

Devenports will now be one of six estate agents on High Street.
