Between Monday 16 and 23 December, Richmond Council is installing 30 new bike hangars, with two in Teddington, for residents to securely store their bicycles.

This follows a consultation earlier this year.

All units will be managed by CycleHoop on the council's behalf.

Spaces are available to rent on a first-come, first-served basis via the Cyclehoop website and cost £72 per year, plus a refundable deposit.

All fees will go to CycleHoop for management and maintenance, including cleaning.

In Teddington, a bike hangar will be installed on Waldegrave Road and in Hampton Wick and South Teddington, They will be placed on Cedars Road and Wick Road.
