Music line-up announced for the highly anticipated Teddington Beer Festival
The highly anticipated Teddington Beer Festival has announced its music line-up for the event which will be running from the 3rd - 5th November.
The festival's celebration of beer, cider and music is in support of the Landmark Arts Centre, the beating heart of arts and culture in Teddington.
Beers and ciders will be available from across the country and from local breweries, complemented by an electric mix of music across the three days and a range of mouth-watering food including hot dogs and hot pork baps to homemade curries from a local supplier.
Ahead of the November event at the Landmark, details have now emerged of the live music that will be on show throughout the three days.
Thursday, 3rd November will see The Alternators take to the stage.
The Surrey-based cover band call themselves The Alternators for three main reasons. The first is that they alternate between two lead singers (one male, one female). They also try to do alternative covers – not the screamingly obvious Brown Eyed Girls chased by Mr Brightsides - but ones you'd forgotten you loved, old friends you embrace warmly. And the third being they sometimes tackle them in a completely different style to the original, or mash up two or more songs. Thursday night promises to be an electric start to the festival!
The Landmark will be graced by GTA on Friday evening. The band came together in 2018 and mix performances with a blend of blues/rock, pop and funk classics. Paul Shields will be on lead vocals, Mike Simpson on guitar and vocals, Tim Francis on Guitar, Matt Griffith on bass and vocals and Roger Swaine on drums.

Those in attendance on the festival's final day, Saturday 5th November, will be treated to live performances in both the afternoon and evening. Your funky next door neighbours, The Colossals, will take to the stage first and the night will end in style with The Deputies, a good time rock n' roll band full of seasoned musicians from a wide range of backgrounds.
