Local MP Munira Wilson has expressed her 'alarm' at the number of people breaking the new government guidance over public gatherings.

In a video message, the Lib Dem MP said: "I was really alarmed today when I went for a short run in Kneller Gardens in Crane Park just how many people were out there and not all of them were sticking to family groups or meeting one other person.

"So please let's try and keep this virus at bay and let's all stay safe.

The MP, who represents, Twickenham, Teddington, The Hamptons and Whitton also used the video message tp say 'thank you' to all those people who had made such 'sacrifices' and followed the public health guidance over the last eight weeks.
