A man has died in Bushy Park this today (Monday, 8 December).

Police and ambulance crews were called to the park to reports of an incident this morning.

Despite efforts from the London Ambulance Service, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.09am today to reports of an incident in Bushy Park, Hampton.

"We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, paramedics in fast response cars, an incident response officer and a clinical team manager.

"Very sadly, despite the best efforts of our crews, a man was pronounced dead at the scene."

A Met Police spokesperson told Teddington Nub News: "At 10:35hrs on Monday, 8 December, police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of an unresponsive man in his 50s in Bushy Park, Richmond.

"Officers attended and paramedics performed emergency first aid, but sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:32hrs.

"His next of kin have been informed.

"His death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious."
