Male arrested and stolen bike recovered following theft in Bushy Park

A male has been arrested and a stolen bicycle recovered after officers from the Safer Parks Team responded to reports of theft in Bushy Park on yesterday afternoon (26 June).

According to the Royal Parks Police, officers were called following reports of males wearing balaclavas stealing bicycles.

Upon arriving at the scene, they were able to locate the individuals, one of whom attempted to flee on a stolen bike.

Officers gave chase and successfully arrested the suspect. The stolen bicycle was also recovered.

The Royal Parks Police shared the update via social media on yesterday evening, confirming the arrest.
