Local care provider celebrates year of awards and recognition

Visiting Angels South Middlesex, a family-run premium care provider, is celebrating a successful year with multiple award nominations recognising the dedication and professionalism of its team across Teddington, Whitton, Twickenham, Hampton, and surrounding areas.

The care provider has been named a Regional Finalist at the Great British Care Awards 2025, celebrating excellence across the social care sector.

Categories include The Home Care Team Award, Recruitment, Retention & Recognition (Three Rs), Home Care Registered Manager (Leah Murray), Outstanding Contribution to Social Care (Ashley Bailey), Putting People First (Sarah Newby), and several others.

The team has also been shortlisted at The Andor Awards 2025, with Alexander Malcolm nominated for Care Worker of the Year and Sarah Newby for Health and Social Care Advocate of the Year.

Further nominations include the Social Care Leadership Awards 2025, with Ashley Bailey named The Quality Assurance Leader and Leah Murray as The Partnership Champion.

Visiting Angels South Middlesex is also a finalist in the West London Chambers Business Awards 2025, celebrating outstanding local businesses and entrepreneurs.

Among individual achievements, Angel Carer, Hazel, has been recognised at the Surrey Care Awards 2025 Finalist in the Unsung Hero – Making Care Possible category, and Ellen Murray was celebrated at Hounslow Council's Community Stars Awards for her work leading Singing for the Brain sessions at Age UK Hounslow's Dementia Station, supporting people living with dementia.

"These nominations recognise the commitment and professionalism our carers bring to their roles and the positive difference they make in local people's lives."
